MovingSoma is a multidisciplinary arts and creative wellbeing platform devoted to reconnecting body, imagination and expression through expressive arts, somatic education and contemplative practice.
MovingSoma creates art and spaces to listen deeply, and uncover the deep well of wisdom, stories and art within.
This work supports both artistic exploration and personal transformation, offering new routes into creative practice, mind-body connection, and ways to express our lived experience.
Rooted in inclusivity and a trauma-informed approach, I aim to cultivate spaces of care that prioritise safety and agency, receptive to the people, place and context I work.

About Sophia..
I am devoted to bridging inner listening with outer expression - creating art and spaces where the body and voice can be heard, and creativity becomes a pathway to awareness and transformation.
My personal practice spans movement, writing, visual art, and sound. I see creativity as a way of listening: more deeply to myself, to others, and to the living world around me.
At the heart of my work is devotion to authentic expression, creative freedom, and cultivating a deep and curious relationship to life.
I have worked across community arts and mental health settings in the UK, developing and delivering creative programmes, workshops and participatory arts projects with adults, young people and families.
My approach is rooted in the Tamalpa Life/Art Process® (Expressive Arts and Somatic Education), Body-Mind-Centering®, Bodywork, Authentic Movement, and Qi Gong
Alongside formal training, my art and work is continually shaped by lived experience, being-with the natural world and an ongoing inquiry into the depth, beauty and complexity of human experience.
